Brain Imaging Platform of Tsinghua Laboratory of Brain and Intelligence

The brain imaging platform of Tsinghua Laboratory of Brain and Intelligence is equipped with a Siemens prisma 3.0T MRI, which is upgraded a series of special technologies of 7T MRI and is recognized as an essential equipment in the field of brain cognitive science. To improve the image quality, this MRI is a "well-equipped" system, including many powerful software and hardware functions as follow: high gradient system ( gradient field strength of 80MT/M and switching rate of 200MT/M/MS), compressed sensing algorithm, trueshape "carving" RF research platform, 64 channel DirectRF+Tim4g special coil for neurology, advanced main magnet with ultra uniform magnetic field. This MRI can perform non-invasive imaging of human brain's function and structure with high-resolution and high signal-to-noise ratio. In addition, it can also be used for non-invasive imaging of all parts of the whole body with high-resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio.
